Sigrid Andersen
When I was ten years old I drew a giraffe, my grand parents said to me, “Keep doing that”,ย and so I did.
I never really think about what I paint – I just feel the moment and see what shows up on the canvas.
Drawing and painting makes me relax and it expands my mind in a soothing way. It’s like a diary to me.
I love to encourage people to paint – I find it enjoyable to see what happens when they are given pen and paper and try new ways of expressing themselves.
My paintings almost always resemble the same person, but lately it has become clear to me that they might just be different moods and aspects of my own personality…

Painting is something I have always wanted to do. I fear that blank canvas more than the one I try an fill with my words. I do so like you explanation of what happens when you paint. Like you, I believe I leave a bit of me on the pages I try and fill with insight, integrity and hope.

Thank you for visiting my blog and”liking” my new post “Don’t Pass it on.” I have been mulling over the subject for a year; and today, it finally found a way to make itself heard. I hope you stop by again. And I hope I have some new to your liking. Be well and keep on painting your emotions.

And Sigrid says that she really appreciates you having the same way of thinking about art as she does.

We are working on making it possible for the artists to just comment directly, but for now I will let you know that Sigrid is happy to hear from you ๐Ÿ™‚

I think you are correct. Everything we create is just an expression of ourselves at any given time through whatever medium we choose.

    Great, amazing stuff here.

    Thank you.
